The melody of the piece depicts the emotions of the group of wanderers heading into the unknown by way of water in the absence of light. The waves and the shifting tides are heard in the phrases of the work. This is an appropriate piece for intermediate to advanced cellists. Composed by and recorded on M.G. Ronstadt’s album Bridging The Gap from 2010.
