Chose rope core or helicore or a twisted metal core because they are good for bluegrass on my one fiddle.
Chose D’Addario because they are domestic, and in general I expect them to be less expensive than strings from the E.U. Turned out they were not as inexpensive as I expected. I appreciate the quick break in.

I will always use Southwest Strings for all of my string and instrument needs.
