Bright, loud, enough complexity in overtones to keep me happy, but subtle enough to give some authenticity to the Irish and Texas fiddle tunes I like to play. A Gold Label E rounds things out. They suit my 100+ year old French fiddle real well. They are LOUD though, but not as much as the Thomastik Titanium Orchestras I tried. A nice fit.

These are the best strings ever hands down. They tune right up and stay tuned. I have been using Zyex strings for years and recommend them to all my students.
