Representing the German workshop at its finest, the Franz Werner Virtuoso violin is expertly crafted from choice tone-woods to provide an intense, luxurious and resonant sound, with excellent projection. The Virtuoso lives to perform, and its vibrant maturity of tone is sure to inspire.
Each Franz Werner violin is hand-carved from beautifully figured and well-aged tone-woods. Solid spruce top of fine grain. Two piece back of strong, narrow flame. Ribs and scroll similar. Finished in an antiqued reddish-amber on a golden ground. Professionally shop adjusted by our experienced in-house (Tucson, AZ) luthiers. Made in Germany.
Outfit includes Kaplan rosin, and your choice of case and bow.

I brought this violin for my daughter who is been playing violin for 8 years. It has well balanced sound through all the strings and good projection. It starts to open up more and getting a good rich tone now.
