Description
The Klaus Mueller Brazilwood (VBC) violin bow is our most popular introductory Brazilwood violin bow. This bow is a well-balanced and an affordable beginner-level bow: a good choice for the beginning to intermediate student.
Real horsehair on an octagonal Brazilwood stick, a half mounted nickel-silver on ebony frog with shell eye, a three-part adjuster, nickel-silver winding and leather grip, distinguish the Klaus Mueller violin bow from other student-level bows.

As always, this is the site I could find with the lowest price for the same product. Plus I love the way they pack the goods. It is the best way you can imagine, making sure your order will reach you hand unharmed. I have been recommended this to my friends. And I will come back to reorder. Hopefully they will expand their choices while maintaining this good quality.

I like the quality of workmanship of the bow, and also it has a very nice balance that enables you to play very silky smooth.

First time we ordered a violin bow from SW Strings. We were concerned about the possibility of receiving a bad quality bow. However, we ended up very pleased. The bow we received shows very good workmanship for the price range. The bow frog and lining areas look very nice. The stick is straight, properly balanced, and not bulky. The wood grain, especially at the bow tip, goes in the right direction. The wood has sufficient stiffness but can still flex well. The kid loves it. It gives her a better control. Being a wood bow, it makes her violin sound sweeter and warmer. The tension of the bow is OK, we can tighten or slacken the bow hair easily. We give a 4-star (and not 5-star) rating because the bow hair does fall out (a tad more frequently than it should). We believe the sharp plywood edges of the box of rosin (which we also bought from SW Strings) were cutting the bow hair. However, the bow hair sometimes falls out for no particular reason. All in all, it’s decent quality bow, especially, for a 3/4 size bow. We will buy this bow from SW Strings again. We hope SW Strings listen to this review: Keep the good quality for these wood bows and tell the bow workshops to also improve the bow hair quality. If you sell good quality products at a fair decent price, customers will come back!
