Klaus Mueller Prelude Violin
The Klaus Mueller Prelude Violin assists beginning violinists with dependable tuning and easy playability. Because of its consistent quality, the Prelude has become a string-teacher favorite across the country. This is a quality instrument you can trust, at a surprisingly low price.
Klaus Mueller Prelude Violins have a large, open sound with easy response. Each violin is hand-carved from well-chosen tone-woods: spruce top of medium grain, inlaid purfling; a two-piece back of maple (ribs and scroll similar to back); and varnished in an even, warm, golden brown. Each violin is shop-adjusted by our experienced, in-house luthiers, to assure excellent playability. Made in China.
Order the Klaus Mueller Prelude Violin on its own (“Instrument Only”), or by building an “Outfit” (including a case, bow, and rosin).

I buy these for my starting level students. They are great at the beginner level. I am typically very pleased but was disappointed this last time; there appeared to be anti-slip gunk on the pegs when it arrived, which is not usual. They should fit well enough to not slide! The violin tuned up well though, so no real issue there.

This is the third time we have bought this violin, we just keep going up in size. That’s how much my daughter loves it. Her teacher and I (mom) also love it because it is affordable, but has a great sound.
I showed her teacher the price and she actually couldn’t believe it.
