The editions of Volume 2-5 offered here are Revised Editions. The edition of Volume 1 is the International Edition, which feature very minor alterations to the notation and text of the Revised Editions. They are otherwise identical to, and fully compatible with, the Revised Editions.

The Suzuki Method is an internationally known music curriculum and teaching philosophy dating from the mid-20th century, created by Japanese violinist and pedagogue Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998). The method aims to create an environment for learning music which parallels the linguistic environment of acquiring a native language. Dr. Suzuki believed that this environment would also help to foster good moral character (Source: Wikipedia.)
