    I really enjoy playing the Prim Strings. I use the orchestra (Heavy Gauge) with the Lisa E. Great set of strings for fiddling. I find the sound to be bright and the tone clear with lots of power. Great for playing Mic’d up or recording. The price is great as well which makes it easier on the pocket to change out strings more often.

    Prim violin strings have never let me down, they have some of the sweetest and well rounded sound. The quality is top notch, they last me forever and don’t ever seem to go dead either. For being hand crafted strings from Sweden, they’re incredibly affordable for any level musician out there. My Bernd Dimbath copy violin is very picky when it comes to strings and Prim is one of the only makers it will take to. Being a professional musician and music educator, we are required to perform in any and every setting, and let me tell you these strings are very stable when it comes to temperature changes, humidity, etc. If you buy these, you won’t regret it!

    Excellent bang for the buck. I have used Prim medium gauge in the past, but the lighter softer gauge really suits my needs.
