I often order from SWS as the items arrive quickly and are of good quality. This past order I was disappointed that one of the 3 E strings I ordered was not the hard guage I thought I ordered but the medium as I asked for on the other 2. I wanted to try the thick guage and will order another one. The strings I got were good and I will use them as I go through Es quickly, just not exactly what I ordered.

These are fine strings, but not quite right for my violin. I have a very bright, clear violin and the bright clarity of the Dominant strings is too much. I have been using Thomastik’s Vision Solo strings which are the best match I’ve found for my violin. I was curious about Dominants, but am sticking with the Vision Solos.
