Description
The Warchal Amber string set has been developed with the aim of achieving the sound qualities of the best gut strings without any tuning instabilities. The set features W-Core®, a completely new core material developed by the Warchal Research; Development team. The sound is rich and warm, but with depth and texture.
The Amber E string is based on Warchal’s newest research. The composition of the core increases the longitudinal elasticity of the string, which results in a significant sound improvement. The Amber E string, while plain steel, offers a warmer sound and no whistling.

The tone of the medium gauge E is very good. Also, this string rarely if ever whistles. It makes playing double, triple and quadruple stops very easy. I plan to buy the heavy gauge E to see if I can get more tone out of my violin on top before I go to the luthier for a seasonal sound post adjustment. I recommend this string! I think very highly of it
