Take your performance to the next level with the Yuan Qin Master violin. Precise graduation, combined with fine craftsmanship and varnish techniques provide a full and balanced sound with excellent projection. It takes everything you love about the 850 “Original” Yuan Qin violin, up a notch into the realm of striking, vibrant projection.
Yuan Qin Master violins are hand-carved from aged-select tone-woods. Spruce top of medium to fine grain. One or two piece (depending on availability) maple back of well defined, narrow to medium flame. Ribs and scroll similar to back. Finished in a spirit varnish of a lovely reddish, amber-brown on a golden ground. Each violin is shop adjusted by our experienced, in-house (Tucson, AZ) luthiers, to assure excellent playability. Outfit includes #VACR7 Kaplan rosin: Your choice of case and bow. Made in China.

I am very pleased with my recent yuan qin master purchase. This is a great value for a nice sounding instrument. Easy to play with a sweet sound. I often recommend the original version but now I will recommend the master version to my experienced students. Customer service was very helpful, polite and quick to find answers.
